Coming July 2009

On the next all-new episode of The Chosen ...

The first move ...

Faith stumbles into Slayer Central. Her blood drips on the floor. She barely makes it two steps before collapsing.

Buffy, laughing at something someone has said, answers the home phone.
Her smile slowly dies as she listens. She turns toward the couch, where Xander and Willow get a good look at her expression.

... the first blows ...

Faith is lying in bed, her wounds bandaged and barely conscious.
Buffy, Xander and Giles are visible, standing around her. She sounds slow and drowsy, but still gravely serious.

Faith: Tellin' ya B ...

We see Buffy fighting desperately, trying to defend herself.
She gets kicked in the chest and goes flying backward out of a multi-story building.

Faith: ... this chick ain't like no vamp you ever saw.

... now they know there is an enemy ...

The Scoobies are gathered along with dozens of others in the Slayer Central library.

Buffy: I want to know everything there is to know about this girl. Who she is, where she came from, her favourite ice cream, what she watches on Thursday nights, and exactly who the hell she thinks she is doing this to one of us.

... but it's what they don't know that could kill them.

The Japanese girl, her face filled with fury, unleashes a scream of guttural rage and throws a vase into the wall.
She glares at the dust and fragments left behind, then snaps her head around to face us.

Cut to black.
